Description
The DR200 is a high performance Ethernet gateway for Smart Grid, Ethernet over Coax and Smart Building applications. It is intended as reference when designing a HE unit based on the DSS9002 and DSS7700 chips.
The cost effective, high performing design is perfectly suited for highly demanding environments in terms of users or applications.
The DR200 is the communications part of what would be a complete modem, ready to be used. The two other parts necessary, and also available as a part of the reference design package, are:
· PS3 – Power supply unit
· BP200 – Backplane to communicate the PS3 and the DR200
